Clark S. Nova built the circuit-bent "speak and math", which uses an Atari paddle as a pitch controller, and generously gave it to me for my 40th birthday. He also built or modified much of the equipment he used on this session. I believe the Atari 2600 is off-the-shelf, using keypad controllers made for one of its games and a custom-built synthesizer cartridge available over the interweb.
