Battle of the Automatons
You might say this is a conceptual installation regarding the exploitation of Native Americans by way of alcohol provided by Imperialists, or you might say that I'm shooting a quick video of these before I sell them this weekend.
Live in Southern California? I'll have a table at the Glendale Community College Flea Market on Sunday, March 17, 8am-1pm. Selling hundreds of vintage collectible records, softcore erotica novels from the Eisenhower era, working super 8 projectors and films, space-wasting toys like these guys, rare schoolroom filmstrips with accompanying cassettes, several kinds of home video game systems from the 80's, movie memorabilia... basically stuff I bought at garage sales and flea markets throughout my 20's-30's exclusively to impress others. Now I'm 43 and don't give a damn, so it all has to go. Look for the blue tent.

Movie of the Week: The Deadly Spawn (1983)
This charming little homespun monster movie was filmed in Gladstone, New Jersey for $25,000. I saw stills from it in Fangoria magazine and on VHS covers at the rental store throughout the 80's, but just experienced it for the first time here on youtube. It starts a little slow, but picks up after the first half hour. Well worth your time, trust me.
